We launched the first Social Enterprise Alliance Holiday Gift Guide three years ago because we wanted to create one place where social enterprises could be celebrated and consumers could easily find social impact products. Each year we curate a catalog of products that would be great gifts for the holiday season, only from social enterprises. In 2019, we decided to take it a step further.
As consumer preference for businesses with social missions increases and shoppers continually make values-based purchasing decisions (shopping businesses that care about social issues), the demand for easy access to social impact businesses is on the rise. Knowing that when social enterprises have the support they need, they are better equipped to continue creating change, we decided to add to our year-end Holiday Gift Guide and create toasting good, a platform that makes social impact products easily accessible, year-round.
Each time a shopper comes to toasting good, they have the chance to support businesses working to end chronic homelessness, fight human trafficking, reduce plastic waste and change lives.
